In order for the economy to be successful consumers must consume or buy goods and services. Without the economic help from consumers who purchase things rapidly the economy wouldn’t be as stable. The average American consumer spends $665 monthly (http://www.statisticbrain.com/what-consumers-spend-each-month/) and there are 318 million people as of 2014 (world bank). These statistics average out to millions of dollars brought into the economy. Several people are employed and contribute, whether buying food or cars to housing. If all consumers decided to make their own products and grow their own food there would be another economy created and the U.S. economy would either become null or become so far in debt foreign countries would take over. Sexual Education in Schools
Adolescents often make decisions based on emotion which can result in negative consequences. Even so out of fifty states provide sex education classes for students in the United States. If all states were able to educate children on the consequences and precautions needed to be taken when having sexual intercourse, teen pregnancy and STD rates would slowly decrease.
Overtime STDS rate have increased in the U.S. due to the lack of knowledge of the different diseases itself, and the ways of preventing them. Sex education is affective at assisting young people to make smart decisions about sex and to develop getting used to using forms of protection. If all young students are taught that the only way of protecting yourself against these sometimes fatal diseases is to use some form of protection the percentage of STDS will soon go from very high to maybe not even existing.
