Edgar Allan Poe wrote short stories about the things in his life that particularly happened to him personally, he’s expresses his emotions in his short stories and poems. Edgar Allan Poe was only a boy that could barely pay for college and was so much in debt he could barely make a living, but if it wasn’t for his mysterious and macabre expressions and feelings in his short stories and poems, then he wouldn’t be who he is now. He was famous for a lot of things in his lifetime but the most significant about his writing is that he’s incorporated his writing with his loved ones, his family, and diseases that ruined him.

        Edgar Allan wrote about loved ones, his wife and the most important things in his life that really meant a lot to him. “Virginia expressed her devotion to her husband in a Valentine poem now in the collection of the Enoch Pratt Free Library, and Poe celebrated the joys of married life in his poem Eulalie.” This really shows he likes to express his emotion in his writing to express him emotions and how he feels about his loved ones. He also talks about his feelings about his family and the most important people in his life.

        Edgar expresses his writing with his family and how he feels about his family. “Poe met and befriended Nancy Richmond. His idealized and platonic love of her inspired some of his greatest poetry, including For Annie.” This shows he expresses his feelings for his loved ones through his poems and short stories. It’s like another world for him; he expresses his emotions through his writing and a lot of people like his writing because he explains in great detail on how he does his writing, giving lectures to help others.

        The diseases that have killed Edgar Allan, his family, and his loved ones. Edgar wrote poems on his loved ones and their diseases, His family being killed 3 years after being born, he was taken into a wealthy tobacco merchant, and was writing poems on his sad life, all the grief and sorrow. His publication of the book “The Raven” made Poe really famous, a household name. Edgar’s fiancé later then died of tuberculosis, which left Edgar devastated. It was a sad life for Edgar Allen Poe.

        Edgar published many poems and books, he usually wrote about the things in his life that particularly happened to him personally, that is how he expressed his emotion, in his short stories and poems. Edgar had a lot of sad times and his life and wrote about a lot of things in his lifetime but the most significant about his writing is that he’s incorporated his writing with his loved ones, his family, and diseases that ruined him.
