Technology Taking Over
1. Gonzales describes herself as “technologically dependent” because of her habits. Gonzales wakes up by alarm which is set up already every night, she dressed up not by her own style which was based on website fashion style, her mood depends on the music she listens to every morning, she couldn’t go grocery to buy newspaper but she can read them on internet website, she can stay home, surf internet and buy her clothes just for 5 minutes by transfer her bank, she can easily follow her friends or famous person by social media without hanging out with them and she and her friend or family can easily connect each other by Facetime and Iphone. Her life is easier with technology.
2. Her complaint about mobile banking is the fast and convenient transformation. More specific, Gonzales can easily buy clothes or stuffs online, she doesn’t have time to double check or think carefully before she pays. She doesn’t need to go to the store, look for real clothes and try them on or have time to think “ is it reasonable to buy?” And mobile banking helps her buy it by 5 seconds when she stays at home.
3. Her complaint about social media is the irresponsibility. Nowaday most of us wasn’t friendly enough this real life, we care each of activities which always post on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Line, Wechat..) and we check on them each hour away despite we ask them to meet and share outside.
4. Her other complaint is Business. Kids and human can go Borders and Barnes and Noble to buy books and help developing economic but technology change people just hold only one Ipad or Macbook or Imac or Iphone… replace million books in their hands. And certainly bookstore might go down and almost close.
