Value Personal Sourcewith Examples Justify the Value's Position in the List. Include any challenges to employing these values consistently when making personal and organizational decisions.

Integrity In my job, I am given a great deal of "perks", including a company credit card and access to highly confidential data. I have never heard of anyone being fired from Citigroup for poor performance however, lack of integrity, will get a person terminated above anything else. For example, an individual at Citibank was placing personal purchases on her company credit card and turning receipts in for her reimbursement. She was audited and terminated for stealing. I believe integrity is the most important value to have as a bank employee because bank employees, in general, are exposed to highly confidential data, including customer credit bureaus. As a VP of Citigroup, I am faced everyday with making credit decisions that are in the best interest of the bank. I have a good reputation at work for making the right decisions, which are in the best interest of our company and our client. I also believe integrity to be important in making personal decisions. I was taught by my parents at an early age to always be one of my word. I place equal importance on the next four values.

Responsibility Responsibility includes being accountable for his or her actions. I learned responsibility at an early age working in my parent's restaurant. My father always taught me to be self-disciplined and think before I act by considering the consequences of my actions. Responsibility has carried over into my work life. I always try to make the right decisions for my company by considering the outcome. I am a reliable person whom my boss knows he can count on for getting the job done. I am his first choice to get reporting out to our client because I have demonstrated responsibility to our client.

Respect Respect means following the golden rule; "do unto others, as you would have them do unto you". This is an important value in work and personal life because our world is so diverse. I try to always consider everyone's feelings before I say or do something that may hurt or offend others. Because our world and workplaces are so
