The argument states that by mimicking the strategies of Superior, the leading coffee company, Excelsior will successfully introduce a new brand of coffee in a crowded marketplace. But, the argument fails to mention several key factors, which could have helped us evaluate the arugment in a better way. Hence, the argument is weak, unconvincing, and has several flaws.

Firstly, the argument assumes that Excelsior's brand of coffee is similar to Superior's brand of coffee. If this is not true, then the argument falls apart. It is possible that Excelsior is launching a more expensive brand of coffee, then it may not be able to attract a large number of coffee consumers. Initially, they may be able to get users to take advantage of the promotion, but once they start selling the regular priced coffee, people may switch back to their old and cheap alternative. If that is the case, then just because this strategy worked for Superior, it doesn't guarantee that it will work for Excelsior. Hence, without having more distinct information about the two difference brands of coffee, it is hard to say that the same business strategy will work for Excelsior.

Secondly, the argument doesn't really tell us much about the background of Excelsior and Superior. It just states that Superior is a leading coffee company, but doesn't tell us the ranking of Excelsior. It is possible that Superior is a well known brand that people have been using for a long time, while Excelsior is just getting into the coffee business. Hence, if that's the case then it is possible that people tried out the new brand of coffee introduced by Superior because they trusted the brand. But, that might not be the case with Excelsior, which is new to this field.

Thirdly, we don't know the financial status of either companies. It is possible that Superior was financially more stronger than Excelsior, and hence was able to provide a bigger sales promotion than
