It is 3:36am, hours before this assignment is due. One last journal must be completed before sunrise. Being the foremost procrastinator, my fellow procrastinating peers had brought Fark.com to my attention. Fark.com is what is referred to as a "blog site" where funny news stories are linked to, for personal enjoyment. Fark.com finds current news stories from around the globe, posting links to their original sites, categorizing the stories by stupidity and providing a brief, witty, caption to describe what the story is about. Stories are only posted from reputable sites, which is partially why the stories are so funny. Fark is constantly updated, often many times an hour, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The site targets the working class and is most often viewed from an office environment. Fark could also be considered a "water cooler" website, making colleagues heads turn by its outrageous content. Its satirical base and factually comedic articles, makes for an entertaining web browsing experience anytime.

One might ask, "What is on Fark at 3:41am?" Well my friend, here are some examples of current captions: "Cell phones bought in Omaha can't be used in Omaha. Customers told they can choose between Colorado, Kansas, or Iowa for phone numbers," "Student cuffed and hauled away in squad after using old $100 bill his great-grandmother gave him," "Due to the price of gasoline, Dominos Pizza is now charging a $1.00 fee for their deliveries. Don't worry, your pizza will still arrive piping cold." Although their cute captions are all quite humourous, often times a quite interesting story can erupt from within. When you have some time to kill and nothing to do, turn to Fark or Fark will turn to you.
