Free Transport In Adealide

There are too many cars in Adelaide now, the traffic problem is more and more seriously. It also causes many other problems, such as the air pollution and the waste of natural resources. To solve these problems, some people think that public transport should be free to all the residents of Adelaide. However, for many reasons, public transport should not be free in Adelaide. Firstly, it costs a large number of money every year. Furthermore, there is no free ride for anyone. Finally, free public transport will be unfair to some people.
Free public transport will spend a great deal of money each year .The public transport in Adelaide now costs millions of dollars every year , which is used for operators, drivers, sales officials, and maintenance crews, all the services and fuel. If public transport becomes free, state government will have to collect all the money from somewhere to replace the revenue brought in by fares. Furthermore, Making public transport 'free' would increase its use (The Age suggests a 30% increase).This means there will be more cost should be budgeted to meet increased demands, Which is used to pay for increased routes, transit vehicle upgrades, and to increase transit vehicles.
If public transport was free, the fare would still be paid as an indirect cost from us. There are some places where public transport is �free’, but the money for all the services will still be needed. Although we do not need to pay anything when we get on a bus, as a taxpayer People would still have to pay some part of the cost, which is included in the taxes or some other fees that the government requires us to pay. There is no free ride for anyone at all.
Finally , it is unfair to those people who rarely or never use the public transport system .If the public transport was �free’, all the residents of Adelaide would have to pay for it by extra tax or some other fees. Of course, the regular commuter
