Friendship
The Meaning of a True Friend
Ð'* Accepts you as what you are
o Regardless of your family background, financial status, and other things that is different from us. Have u ever accepted a friend who is totally different from you? For example let's say that person has a different sense of clothing style from you, such has the "bling2" stuff (gaya orang item), but you prefer the "getto" style. But in reality when you mix them together they'll become a fashion disaster. So are you still willing to be around him/her without feeling ashamed, embarrassed and afraid of people talking about you?
Ð'* Doesn't distant from you regardless
o Have you ever had a true friend who continues to be with you and supports you in times of failure, disagreements, etc when others leave you behind? For example, it is like when you have a dog: it will never leave you even though you had a bad day, in a bad mood, etc. It will always be with you and stay by your side all the time.
Ð'* Believes in you when you don't believe in yourself
o Encourage! (Group Discussion)
Ð'* Always there when you need them and even before
o This is another factor, which not every friend can give. For example, you had an accident at 2am in the morning. You called a friend and he/she immediately came to help you at no expense. (or Angel's instance when she moves out of Archstone.)
Ð'* Understands us even when we keep quiet
o There are many different ways each individual express their emotions. Some keep their emotions within themselves, some write it in a diary, some say it to others, etc. What's your way of expressing yourself? True and close friends usually have a telepathy whereby they can sense if the other is having a problem or difficulty.
