Getting to Know Jetta by Kamari Anderson

        Jetta Precious Mae Fant was born by C-section on August 5th, 2003 at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. Where she was creatively named after a Volkswagen because both her parents have been named after vehicles. She is currently 13 years of age. When she was little she once stole a pack of bubblegum from the dollar store. Her family consists of her mother, her father, twelve dogs, seven chickens, seven turtles, two birds, and one cat. Her parents are partners in a trucking business and she can’t choose a favorite. But she looks more like her dad and acts most like him. She has only ever lived in Jacksonville, Florida and has attended Ruth N. Upson Elementary. She wants to travel to the Dead Sea because it is the lowest point on dry land and floating on top of the water is the only thing you can do because of the extremely high concentrations of salt and dissolving mineral, causing it to be denser than normal freshwater. And it is one of the world’s saltiest oceans, so plants or animals are unable to live in the water, which is why it’s called the Dead Sea. If she could be any fruit, she would be a dragon fruit because they look cool to her. Jetta’s best friends are Kamari Anderson, Talia Young, Haley Correa, and Daniya Wallace. She considers them special because they put up with her. She enjoys reading mystery, murder, and picture novels. And if she could be any cereal, she would be Cookie Crisps because… they’re cookies! Her mother happens to be the most influential person in her life because she considers her mother to be a good leader and a strong woman. Her special hobbies/talents are drawing, writing, swimming, and making people laugh. Her dogs are named Blue, Boo, Bull, Crooke, Dada, George, Goofy, Lucky, Max, Spot, and the other two dogs she couldn’t remember at the time. Also her one cat’s name is Whiskers. Jetta enjoys watching Ghost Adventures because she is entertained by the horror genre. She wants to go to Florida State University College of Medicine to achieve her life goal of because a radiologist and becoming successful. But as of now, her goals for this year is to maintain a good GPA. She enjoys listening to all genres of music except country. The most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to Jetta was when she tried to steal a Barbie doll playset and her mom spanked her in public. If Jetta was ever to be stranded on a desert island, her necessities would have to be a fan, a plate of Chinese food, and a rowboat. She likes social activities that take place at school the most. And least, the mean teachers. And her one special wish would be to have the power of having knowledge of anything in the world, the cure for cancer and time travel being the most important or to declare world peace.
