There is now sufficient reliable evidence that global warming due to human actions is causing hazardous changes in climate.
Global Warming is has been considered one of the most controversial topics in American society. Currently citizens are divided between human induced global warming. Some believe that it is relevant that humans use of resources has led to a environmental disaster, while others insist that global warming is natural. According to the report by Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC) global climate change is both driven by human and natural drivers. Humans are responsible for exacerbating the climate change by use of Fossil Fuels, and other activities. IPPC suggests that the global increases in carbon dioxide concentraton and land use change have increased significantly as a result of human industrialization beginning in the 1750s. (IPPC, 2007). Carbon Dioxide a natural and anthropogenic component is one of the most contributing factors of Climate Change. The increase of value of Carbon dioxide has increased from the pre-industrial value of 280 parts per million (ppm) to approximately 380 in 2005 (IPCC 2007). Carbon dioxide is needed to sustain basic ecological functions. However, when excess amounts are produced it harms the environment in “altering the balance of incoming and outgoing energy in the Earth-atmospheric system” (IPCC). Patrick Michaels, global warming skeptic, argues that the Carbon Dioxide has been overinflated. He in fact concludes that weather in the early 20th century was clearly warmer than today and it lacked increase in sea levels. What Mr. Michaels does is contradicts himself from his introduction where he says thast melting large areas of sea ice does not affect sea level (Michaels, 2). However, flow levels have changed in some Greenland Glaciers which drain ice from interior ice sheets. When this ice meets with warmer ocean seawater to expand
