SYNOPSIS:
GMA (GLOBAL MEDIA ARTS) its corporate name is simply GMA Network Inc. which the triumvirate of any Atty. Felipe Gozon. It is the leading broadcasting company in the Philippines. Also owns a wide array of media-related business apart from its television and radio networks including film production, record publishing and distribution, program acquisition and syndication, international channel operation, production design, talent development and management, marketing and promotions, audio-visual production and new media and it is the most awarded television network in the country. They are competing to other network and all they want is to have a higher rating programs.
MAIN PROBLEM:
What should Atty. Gozon will do to keep making new and higher-rating programs and will continue its facilities upgrade in the province to widen GMA’s reach within the country?
SUB-PROBEM:
- How should GMA Network Inc. retain its top programs?
- How should the management of the network gain competitive advantage over their top competitors?
ANALYSIS:
GMA will have more chances of offering unbiased, unparalleled news and pure source of fun and entertainment. It is not always about riches that one corporation is being honed there are times that public service and the joy of the viewers and the people in the company are among the most important factors in the success.
CONCLUSION:
We therefore conclude that the scientific approach was more efficient to determine programming. Gozon relied on enhanced programming to fuel GMA’s success. To increase its program ratings that ultimately led to higher advertising revenues, GMA relied on in-house marketing research that found out what made a show or celebrity click what and television viewers really wanted to experience and these approach was very efficient for them and they build a strong relationship with the viewers and develop a brand personality
