Alex running into Jonah, his old physics teacher, at the O'Hare airport was a fortunate for him. Alex was just informed by Peach that if his plant cannot be turned around in three months' time, the end of the fiscal year, UniCo has no other alternative than to shut down his plant. Alex arrogantly tells Jonah about his plant. How they have installed new robots that have increased production. Jonah then actually turns the question back to Alex about how he increased productivity. Alex seems appalled that he would ask him he had seen the numbers. Alex knew that productivity had increased when they got the new robots. Jonah was asking about some key questions such as decreased inventory, reducing expenses and selling more products. He wanted Alex to shoe him how the robots affected these certain areas. Alex is stumbled with these questions and is sure they are improving since productivity and efficiency have gone up. Jonah takes a moment to help Alex recognize some of the flows in his increased productivity theory. He states that Alex has accepted many of these concepts without really looking at it with the thought of common sense. Jonah tells Alex that product ivy is defined as accomplishing something in terms of goals. Alex gives Jonah a few answer he thinks are the goal of a company but Jonah disagrees with him. Now Jonah is late for his flight he leaves Alex with this one thing to come up with on his on. Alex tries to get him to tell him but he refuses. He tells Alex to call him when he has figured out the answer.
