This chapter is letting us know about how heartbroken Dan is when he finds out that Vanassa didnt give Serena the part in her film. Dan imagined that maybe he and Serena could start to hang out become friends, maybe even a couple. But that won't happen now.

A fan meets her idol

The fan - Jenny Humphrey meets her idol - Serena Van Der Woodsen. Jenny was sitting in the cafeteria eating and trying to catch up on missed homework from the night before. While sitting she saw a sign up sheet for a film that Serena was going to be filming. Jenny decided to sign up to give her a hand and just then Serena came and sat down with Jenny because she seen her sign up.

Tribeca star

In this chapter Blair and Serena met up at a hotel to have some drinks. They choose to go to the hotel because no one will card them for being underage. Serena went to the hotel with high hopes of having a good night with the old gang, but things dont quite end up that way. Serena and Blair just talk about what has happened while Serena has been gone away to boarding school, and why she got kicked out of boarding school. It just so happens that all the rumours about her having a kid, making street drugs etc. were not so true at all. Serena ended up missing the first three weeks of school to stay in France.
