Health is defined as the state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. You have a lot of things that factor into health, such as physical fitness, mental health, nutrition, exercise, and hygiene.
Physical fitness is defined as good bodily health, and is the result of regular exercise, proper diet and nutrition, and proper rest for physical recovery. Physical fitness is the capacity of the heart, blood vessels, lungs, and muscles to function at optimum efficiency. In previous years, fitness was defined as the capacity to carry out the day’s activities without fatigue. Because of the industrial revolution this meant that criterion was no longer sufficient. Optimum efficiency is the key. Physical fitness is now defined as the body’s ability to function efficiently and effectively in work and leisure activities, to be healthy, and to meet emergency situations. Fitness can also be defined into five categories aerobic fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition.
Mental health is a term used to describe either a level of emotional wellbeing or an absence of a mental disorder. From the discipline of positive psychology or mental health may include an individual's ability to enjoy life and procure a balance between life activities and efforts to achieve psychological resilience.
“The World Health Organization” states that there is no one "official" definition of mental health. Cultural differences, subjective assessments, and competing professional theories all affect how "mental health" is defined.
Nutrition is the provision, to cells and organisms, of the form of food to support life. Many common health problems can be prevented with good nutrition.
