Heavy Pressure

"Come on dad lets play catch!" This is something all boys want to do whey they are young. Whether it is playing catch or shooting baskets, all little kids love to play and be active. In America we are all so lazy. So in a lot of cases running around does not even happen anymore, because we can not last more than ten minutes without getting out of breath. Today being obese is a much greater killer than smoking. It is the number one leading killer in our country. Being obese today causes so many problems and we must do something to stop this.

Being overweight is a huge problem, where ever you go around the world. In fact 58 million people around the world are overweight. This is an astonishing number. People today just are not as active as they use to be in their younger days. In America we have been so dependent on everyone else to do our tasks. And no one is going out and doing things anymore to become physically fit. The biggest reason today that people give for not being active is, "I do not have any time." This statement is false. For example, if you say you do not have any time, wake up early in the morning and start your day earlier. This way it is already in your schedule. If you truly do this every morning you will be amazed on how your body will transform. It is just a matter of putting something into your head and saying that you can do it. When you tell your mind you can do something you can. You should never quit. If you think about quitting just think about what will happen to you down the road if you do not do anything for your weight lost now. Our America just gives up at the littlest things. When the going get tough the tough get going. Should be every ones mind set. If you keep on putting off exercising all the time and not do anything for it, in the end it will really hurt you. A huge thing that I have seen and researched is that if your parents are obese, you probably are too. The reasons for this are that you see your parent just sitting around all day because they are too big to do anything. And you see how they eat. This is molding how you will be in the future. They will not want to go run around with you as a child or do anything because they can not. How their eating habits are, you will see that and accept it as a good way to eat.

Furthermore, people are not going out and becoming active. People today have others do their work for them because they are too lazy to do it. A solution to this huge problem is instead of taking the bus to work maybe try to walk. The good thing about this is that you can do it anywhere you want. Try to go somewhere and walk such as the mall, or the park, any where for a start. Also if walking is not hard enough try to walk up hills. The good thing with walking is that it tightens up your muscles, and improves your cardio fitness. Now this is a start to weight loss. Another thing that is great for your body and can help you become more fit is to run. Running improves everything especially your weight. A good thing about running is that it burns more calories a minute than anything else you could do in the gym for an exercise. However, when running you can not just jump right into it. You have to start off slow. Start into a fast walk then increase
