Reasons for action

That climate change is occurring is unquestionable. And almost all scientists have agreed on the cause: Human activities generate greenhouse gases that are dramatically changing our world. There is an overwhelming international consensus that global cooperation and action are essential to curb these emissions. The U.S emits the most greenhouse gases. Despite this, US leaders have so far been unwilling to require cuts in emissions or to even participate in international agreements aimed at curbing them. Ted Stolze, a Cerritos professor, know young people’s voices and actions can make a difference. So, he has a talk about “THE MORAL PROBLEM OF CLIMATE CHANGE: REASONS FOR ACTION“. He has following assumptions about climate change. Then, the lecture answers questions. Why people do nothing or something about the global warming? What is required, then, is urgent individual and collective action?

Facing the climate change, individual has to do something to prevent the climate change. Individual educates yourself and other about serious problems, create music and art to raise awareness, and sustainable consumption, calculate and try to reduce the carbon footprint, reuse and recycle products, buy local and organic
