How to Be a Successful Soldier Within the Military?

order to be a successful soldier within the military, being accountable for equipment is a main priority. According to the past, our military has won many wars due to the fact of us being very well equipped. Therefore, in order for us to remain successful we must continue to be accountable with our equipment. Once we got sworn into the military and shipped off to Basic Combat Training everyone is issued military clothing, which is only the beginning of what you get being in the military.
I’d like to formally introduce myself as Adeena Glasgow, a soldier of the United States Army and the niece of Alvin J. Glasgow. I am 19 years of age and reaching one year of service within our beloved country. I attend Hampton University majoring in Computer Engineering. As you can probably infer I’ve got my life planned and I’m working towards my goal with no thoughts of stopping/ My uncle has helped me get to where I am now by continuously pushing me forward and coaching me to never give up. He is the closest thing I have to a father figure in my life. Uncle Alvin has raised me as his own, been there for the worst experiences in my life, changed my diapers, gave me advice. Anything dramatic that came my way he was there as a father figure to reassure me that everything would blow over and I’d be okay. Uncle Alvin has faithfully catered to his 7 children and always put them first. He opened a mechanic shop for a semi-reliable source of income in order to provide for them the things they need and sometimes want. Uncle Alvin constantly took his kids including his nieces and nephews school shopping at the beginning of each school year. He made sure to enforce that education is the main foundation of a successful life. He always said “Nothing in life is free, and any man of today’s society has the responsibility himself to grow from being a boy into a man.
