Purpose
At the end of my speech, the audience will be able to make chocolate oatmeal no bake cookies.
Introduction
How many of you know how to bake? Now for those of you that can, can you bake well? For those of you that aren’t as good in the kitchen as others I am going to show you a simple recipe for you to make that does not involve an oven, only a stove.
Central Idea
I am here today, to demonstrate how you can impress your friends and family at any party with this simple desert everyone will enjoy, chocolate oatmeal no bake cookies.

This dessert involves five materials and seven ingredients. I will first go over the materials and ingredients needed and then I go over each of the steps.
Body Outline
- So now lets begin with my first point, preparing your materials and ingredients for this dessert.
- The materials you will need are:
- Saucepan
- Mixing utensil
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- Wax paper
- The ingredients you need are:
- ½ cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- ½ cup milk
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 3 ½ cups quick cooking oats
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Now that we know what we need, lets begin making our treat!
- First line your baking sheet with wax paper.
- Add the butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa to the saucepan.
- Bring this mixture to a rolling boil, then let boil for one minute.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the peanut butter, oats, and vanilla.
- Drop teaspoons of the mixture onto the wax paper.
- Let them sit at room temperature until they have cooled and hardened. If you are in a hurry you can put them in the fridge to help them cool faster.
- Once they are hardened you can enjoy your delicious treat you made.
Conclusion
Lets go over what we did today. We learned how to make delicious chocolate oatmeal no bake cookies with only twelve supplies and seven steps. I hope that you will try this recipe and impress your friends and family at your next party.
