This report will provide you with a overview of Social circle’s program that has been developed under research from the Brotherhood of St Laurence, in which have delivered community based lifestyle programs to packaged care consumers. Currently, Social Circle aims to reduce social isolation and loneliness among the elderly and adults with disabilities. Through Team TAVUS’ analysis of macro-environmental factors, industry forces and competitors it is evident that there is a feasible marketplace for Social Circle. The main objective of this report is for Team TAVUS to provide recommendations for Social Circle, these include: Promotional training and volunteer initiatives, Rating systems, and developing a Smart Phone (Android/iPhone) Application. The External Environmental Analysis was appointed to examine the macro-environmental and external factors that have an influence on Social Circle’s business objective. Throughout the analysis of PESTLE, Porters Five Forces and Competitors, it is evident that development and sustainability of Social Circle is viable through our recommendations of promotional training and volunteer initiatives, rating systems, and developing a smart phone (Android/iPhone) application. However, Social Circle will need to strategically look at other factors that have impact on the business venture. Based on the predicted success of the Social Circle in Victoria, there is opportunity to expand the business across Australia. In order to grow and develop the business, it is recommended that Social Circle devise a large scale marketing campaign. Promotion refers to methods used to sell and market a product and/or service in order to raise customer awareness, generate sales and create brand loyalty. A rating system is a service that allows customers to assign a standard to a product or service based on a scale system. After a Social Circle customer attends an event it is recommended that they then rate the provider based on their level of satisfaction.
