Stakeholders

Stakeholder management is critical to the success of this project. By engaging the right people in the right way in the project, we can make a big difference to its success.

By communicating with stakeholders early and frequently, we can ensure that they fully understand what we are doing and understand the benefits of your project - this means they can support you actively when necessary and you can anticipate what people's reaction to your project may be, and build into our plan the actions that will win people's support.

Analysis of the external environment.

I have conducted a PESTEL analysis for Honeywell to understand the external forces influencing the market and performance.

This helps show the market beyond our landscape.

There are times when we focus too internally and forget to understand the power of the outside forces. This PESTEL Analysis shows there are forces out there, directly and indirectly, impacting how our business performs.

Political: Government stability, polices and regulation

In our current industry this will include Import and Export licensing due to the nature of products that we can produce.

There is the denied parties list, which give us knowledge of countries and companies that we cannot do business with or ship products to.

Economic: Currencies and rates in other countries.

The strength of the euro against the dollar certainly contributes as an incentive to buy new aircraft, as does the increased wealth and business expansion anticipated in Eastern Europe and Russia. As predicted in Honeywell’s 2005 survey findings, European operators also reported a particularly strong increase in expanding their fleets, versus simply replacing aircraft, an indication of overall confidence among operators in the region.

Socio cultural factors

There are environmental issues with air pollution that will heavily affect the Aerospace industry.
