There have been many controversies over interracial couples for reasons of racist origin and biblical views. Though no countries have laws banning interracial marriages, it tends to still be a major issue with some predominantly in the United States.

The number of interracial marriages in the United States has had a drastic increase since the earlier years, but for some reason black-white marriages tend to be the most controversial in the public eye. Americans are more willing to accept white-Hispanic or white-Asian marriages because of the similarities in skin color and social status.

Ignorance , I feel, is the main reason to why people are unaccepting of interracial

dating. To state that it is biblically wrong shows that you have no knowledge of the bible. The bible never once says the word ? race.? To sum up what the bible says is simply: all

people are descended from one man and woman; all people are equal before God; all are sinners in need of salvation; all need to build their thinking on God?s Word and judge all their cultural aspects accordingly; all need to be one in Christ and put an end to their rebellion against their Creator. There is no biblical justification saying that people from different ?races? should not marry. If you took the time to put your prejudges aside and look deeper to its meaning you would see that the biblical basis for marriage makes it quite clear that a Christian should marry only a Christian. Therefore if you are a white Christian female and marry a black Christian male, there should be no problem. Unfortunately that is not the case because there are too many people in this world that still feel that whites should be with whites and so on. God forbid we have such things as ? racial impurities.?. But it?s not just whites that frown again black-white marriages. Black women take a high number in being against the unity of black males and white females as well. It?s called ?Marriage Squeeze?. A marriage squeeze refers to the belief that the most eligible and desirable black men are marrying non-black women leaving black women wishing to marry black men with fewer partnering options. Therefore it is very hard for a white female to be out with a black male and not receive some sort of criticism from black females. I say this because I know first hand. Now I?m not saying
