One might ask, "What exactly is an interracial relationship?" An interracial relationship is the integration of two different races or ethnicities by a couple in a casual friendship, marriage, cohabitation or sexual relation. The relationship between Caucasians and African-Americans are by far the most popular "mixing" of two different races. Some view this relationship as ethically immoral and an abandonment of one's identity and background, while others see this combination as an opportunity to identify with someone of a different culture and background as well as shunning the act of racism and prejudice by getting to know someone despite the color of their skin or the beliefs that they may hold. The issue of the past and even currently is that society often views these types of relationships in a negative racist manner. Mainly in the opinion that black people should stay and marry other black people and have black babies. The same should hold true for people of Caucasian descent. The problem with relationships that are fostered between people of different ethnic backgrounds, especially black and white, is that it the relationship is thought of as the forbidden fruit. Because of the violent and degrading history that is between blacks and whites, inter-racial relationships suffer greatly in the public eye. Black men will forever be portrayed as the criminal people trying to simply deflower the innocent white females of their former masters.
Inter-Racial relationships are sometimes called multicultural relationships in the Marxism view. The Marxism view on these relationships is that they only produce a hell which man himself has built. Multiculturalism is said to have the same views as the Soviet Communism. It deals in the same agendas and the same ideas that Communism does. One, in order for a true multi cultural society to survive and to thrive, it must eliminate all opposition to the cause. There can be no safe havens for the counter-revolutionaries. In the Communist system, the dictator must first depose the major head of authority. This "major head of authority" can be symbolic of the father figure in a family. The authority is the main defendant of the old ways that the movement, or relationship, wants to break or remove. For many Caucasian girls, this means running away from home, moving out, sneaking out, and many other ways of getting around the father's or the family's views about her dating a man of another race.
After the main authority is gone, then there are the smaller pockets of resistance. In the militaristic view, this would mean eliminating the small groups of soldiers and citizens that are still loyal to the old leader. In the dating world, it means to get rid of anyone who regularly questions the relationship. This could mean the family, the friends, the church, school and etc. The main reason that many inter racial relationships end prematurely is that the participants are pressured into making rash decisions. The man is repeatedly teased and poked fun at by his peers for dating and being involved in a physical relationship with a "white woman." The woman is often times considered to be wild or bored with the current crop of men that are available to her and thusly going out on a whim with the man.
She is often asked what she is trying to prove or what she is thinking by family and friends. Thus the constant pressuring becomes too much and the relationship is ended. So for the relationship to thrive, all the opposition must be removed. The Communist view, and therefore the Marxist View, is that all are equal in the society. Marriage is already a communist gesture. It assumes that both the man and the woman will have an equal footing in the relationship, as well as an equal ownership of all the funds. This is even more important in the interracial marriage. However, like Communism, things are never actually equal. The pressures of living together weigh on the couple and soon the racial stereotypes are exploited and exposed. The inner fighting starts. The head of the household, the male, always assumes that the female is somewhat inferior and she should be obedient. In the interracial relationship, this view is then turned around to include the racial standpoint.
As the relationship struggles with this in fighting, each participant might feel the need to purchase things that make them feel good. This depletes the funds that they hold. The depleted funds then make for more fighting about who is in the right and who is wrong. Eventually the relationship crumbles and is destroyed. This same thing happened in the Former Soviet Union. The infighting and the depletion of funds drove the government and the country to collapse.
Therefore from the Marxist view, the relationship is doomed from the start unless one person takes the role of the inferior.
When an interracial relationship consists of a black man and a white woman, there are many terms used to describe the reason that they are together. Terms such as "She has that jungle fever," come to mind.
