Today in class the objective was to interview a few of my peers. In doing this activity i was able to find out a little bit more about their lives other than their names like ( where they're from, what their going to school for ect.). This exercise really made me think about someone other than myself and my goals in life. The view on someone else's future, dreams and wishes is incredible.
During class time i interviewed two individuals the first being Sehar. Describing herself in three words shy, polite, and a dancer. Her favorite day of the week is Wednesday because she joined a club that involves Bollywood dancing her favorite pastime activity and hanging out with friends. She also enjoys eating pizza with them one of her favorite foods. Sehars favorite type of music is anything besides Country. Although Sehar is shy she has always wanted to dance in front of people. If she could go anywhere for a free 2 week vacation she replied with a trip to Pakistan to visit her mother, this is also one of her wishes because 4 years ago she moved here to be with her brother and sister who were already here. Sehar says that her mother has taught her everything she knows and she definitely looks up to her mother. Her favorite store to shop in is Forever 21. Sehar hates presenting in class. Her most enjoyed holiday is Halloween she's always liked it even though her family doesn't celebrate, and when asked what she would wear to costume party she answered a red and black witch costume. If suddenly won a million dollars Sehar would buy her own house. She says her family is very distance, she describes her life in one word as struggling. Sehar takes on a lot of responsibilities by taking care of her younger siblings on her own. Also she wishes her family will communicate more often.
