Hi, everyone. I am VP of marketing, Shihui Liu. Now, I am going to talk about the future of our industry and company.
Here is a formula shows our company’s belief. Do you know what it means? Well, it means that we assess more than 450 ingredients before we make our food. Also, there are 81 items which are bad for health on our No No List. All these assessment makes our food healthy, different from other fast food.
Then, let’s go back to our industry. Our industry has a bright future in the next five years. From the chart we can see that it is estimated to grow at an average annual rate of 1.8 percent and generate $248 billion revenue.
There are also some future changes will influence the industry. First one is that there will be tighter regulations on food safety. Food safety is always a big problem. Nowadays, we don’t have much natural food. Instead we have these problems to think about our food. So, in the long term, to ensure health wellness, there will be more regulations on food. Another one is that people are aware of bad effects of fast food. In a fast speed world, modern people become more health conscious. So, they are willing to pay more money to choose healthy food. It is a future trend that firms develop healthy menus to meet new demands.
Here are some financial metrics. The price to book value (P/B) is 9.82, indicating that the market thinks highly of our industry’s future performance. A 46.8 percent return on equity shows a very good ability to make profits. Debt to equity ratio is quite high, about 6.6. It means that our industry is quite aggressive and confident for its future growth.
The future of our company is really promising. Our company is always focusing on providing healthy food. This strategy greatly meets customers’ satisfactions. We’ve been an industry leader in removing artificial ingredients from food. Recently we are introducing unique kids’ menu to attract parents who are worried about their kids’ health. We believe our market share shall increase because of this.
