Investment Opportunities
Marinduque is rich with natural resources that are able to help the province attain economic progress. This chapter aims to provide investment opportunities to possible investors and promote the province by presenting their area of expertise.
Investment Opportunities
According to the official website of the Provincial Government of Marinduque, the probable investment opportunities present in the province are as follows:
Ð'* arrowroot plantation & processing
Ð'* butterfly culture & processing
Ð'* abaca plantation & processes
Ð'* loom-weaving & product conversion
Ð'* high value commercial crops
Ð'* pottery and pasalubong centers
Obviously, these investment opportunities are mainly focused on one of the significant sources of income in Marinduque which is agriculture. As what could be seen, most of them will result in the production of native products. And since Marinduque is situated in the Visayan region where tourism generates high profit, these native products will be popular among the foreign as well as the local tourists visiting the place. Investment in crops would most probably also generate high income, especially as these crops are of high value and would be exported.
Furthermore, not only would investors or possible business owners, that would take in to consideration into transacting businesses in the area, would have a benefit due to these investment opportunity but also would have an advantage due to the environment of the province. Research shows that the province of Marinduque is populated with peaceful and organized citizens. Investors would not be having difficulties facing acts that would harm their business. In addition to this, the people in Marinduque are creative and hardworking.
