"Is abortion moral and ethical?"
Abortion is a very controversial subject that has been continually argued over many years and probably many to come. The main controversy is should abortion be legalized in all cases? There are two sides to abortion they are the PRO-LIFE which is those who are against abortion altogether and the PRO- CHOICE or those who believe it is the woman's right to choose if she wants to have an abortion. These two groups offer different solutions to the problem. Although abortion is morally and ethically wrong should it be legal for victims of rape or incest who have no other alternative?

Its should be legal for only victims of rape, incest or medicinal purposes. For instance if you are to ill to carry the baby full term and it is recommended by the doctor then why not; or if a women is raped by a stranger or by a family member then why not? But just because some young lady is willing to go out and have unprotected sex does not mean she should have an easy way out "ABORTION" if she were to end up pregnant.
In this country 43% of all women will have one abortion in their life time(www.religioustolerance.org) The reasons may be: Rape or incest victim, Financially unstable, Medical reasons, Lack of responsibility, Their age, Pressure from parents, Fear of neglect or personal and social image.(www.religioustolerance.org) But some of these do not give any excuse to take a life away just because they had to much fun slumming around. Then you have the case of women who have late term abortions. To be considered late term the women is nine to sixteen weeks in term.
The two groups Pro-Choice and Pro-Life are definitely the opposite. Pro-choice are people who believe that the women has the right to decided her own decisions and
