In the vast universe that we live in are we it? Is planet earth the only intelligent life in the whole universe? Space is never ending, so could there be others searching for us? There are many theories on weather there are intelligent live other than us. There are also a lot of people that believe they have personally encountered first hand experiences with extra-terrestrials.

The government is conducting their search for life in outer space, but one does not have to go far to find out what others think. Visit Roswell New Mexico, this is one place were people clam was visited by extra-terrestrials. On July 2, 1947 something crashed and a large amount of unusual debris was scattered over a ranch. It was reported that a flying disc was discovered, later that statement was retracted and they said that a weather balloon crashed and that is what was discovered. Was the truth or was this a government cover up?

Most scientists think that if extra-terrestrial life exists, its evolution would have occurred independently in different places in the universe. This ranges from humanoid and monstrous to life at the much smaller scale of bacteria. You can see many different views of extra-terrestrials just by watching science fiction movies.

The chemistry that makes up earth is found all over in the universe. Some scientists believe that if the chemistry that makes up the earth is found every where then why can't live also be found every where. The search for intelligent life in the universe is on going. We must broaden our search for extra-terrestrial intelligence to other stars, even
