The Jackdaws

In the days before Dooms day, The Nazi party has now occupied almost all of France and most of Europe. The Nazi party was lead by Hitler, and his beliefs were sinister. He would arrest and kill anybody that did not have blue eyes and blonde hair, otherwise known as the imperfects. This mainly meant Jewish people. Over six million Jews died due to the Nazis. This tragedy was known as the Holocaust. Due to the take over of France the Resistance was formed.

Michel was the Leader of the resistance. One of his most important task during the war was to blow up a communications tower crucial to the Nazi party. This tower would rapidly relay information in case of coastal attack. The Nazi party had very few solders guarding the coast which would give the allies the advantage as they arrived with over 5000 ships. Michel's plan was to take about eight men and blow up the tower. British intelligence told them that there were about 12 Nazis guarding the tower but they were wrong; double that were inside, and Michel's unit, the Bollingers, lost the fight. Most were killed and some were captured. Only two got away Flick and Michel.

Felicity, also known as Flick was Michel's wife. She was a legendary Major in the army. She had survived undercover work longer then anyone. She was at the Bollinger fight to observe and send back information to the Special operations Excutive (SOE) on how things went. Flick did not tell anyone she worked with that she was married to Michel. Michel was Flick's untruthful husband who cheated on her with a 19 year old resistance member.

Due to the failure of the Bollinger unit, Flick is sent back home to England. Flick now felt that she should go back and complete this important mission. She needed an all women team. Her plan was to disguise them selves as cleaner ladies. She felt that women would be less suspicious if they were seen by anyone. Her superiors were weary because of the Massacre during the last mission. But she persuades them to let her go and recruit women for the job.

. Flick now had the hard task of finding women that are willing to put their lives on the line. Most importantly, she needs to find a female communications expert and an explosive female expert. She had to recruit these girls in one day. She would find the first recruit at the place where she lived. Her mom was a maid there. They lived with a Master and many other maids. One of the other maids had a daughter named Diana. Flick recruited her because she was a sharpshooter. The next recruit was Ruby. She was a convicted killer about to be hung in prison. Flick wanted her recruited because she was a killer and that's what she needed. Flick persuades the warden to free her because this was a military situation. Percy had a friend from childhood she called Jelly who was an explosive expert. Maude whom she finds at a bar is a skilled telephone technician. Flicks brother knew a person who was a singer at a bar who was a communications expert. She met Greta. He was a homosexual transvestite hoping to get even with the Germans for killing his partner. Jelly made fun of Greta for dressing like a women and being gay. They all would have to go to finishing school to learn how to do special skills like parachuting. Flick
