AUTOBIOGRAPHY

On August 8, 2003 a beautiful girl was born to Deborah Akande and Rohan Bowen named Janelle Bowen who is Guyanese, Jamaican, American, half Dutch, and Trinidadians, I live in Jamaica, Queens, New York at 146th street. Janelle is 13 years old in the 8th grade and attends York Early College Academy School. YECA is located at 108-35 167th Street in Jamaica, New York, 11433. I live with a beautiful family my 3 siblings named Jared, Jasmine, Jared, Josiah, Diarvion my god brother Kye and Grandma Norma Paul. My favorite’s things to do are to draw color and play with my siblings and my favorite subject is math. The kind of food’s I like the most are McDonalds, Chipotle, and Ihop. The sport that I played when I’m not doing my homework or playing with my siblings is either running or jump roping. Some people ask me what kind of religion I am and I tell them I’m Christian but then they ask me why I don’t go to church on Sunday and I tell them because the bible says to go on church on Saturday.

“Every day may not be good, but there is something good in everyday.” Entertainment is important to being happy and what I enjoy the most is watching television. My brothers and sister play fight a lot until they fall down and I find this very funny. If someone had to describe me, the words they should use would be loving, kind, helpful and caring. When people touch me in a mean way or say I am not smart, push me, ask for things that I have or talk about me or my family I get very mad. When I get mad I want to slap someone or even punch them, I am trying to work on doing better with this. I have a lot of talents that I don’t use and just leave them to waste. I am good at singing, acting and playing some instruments. Traditions that my family have are having family dinners at least once a week, family prayer, family hugs, grocery shopping and first day of school photos. My goals for this school year and life are too pass the Algebra and Earth Science Regents exams with a 75 or higher, accomplish my dreams and to be successful.
