I bet most of you didn't know but according to Pyschology Today, Jan - Feb 2002. America has 76% of the world's serial killers. Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer, was an American notorious serial killer, who went from being a normal kid, to a cannibal, a murderer, and then to necrophilia (which means he had sexual attraction to corpse). Who murdered 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991. Then was eventually charged and killed.

He was born on May 21, 1960 in Wisconsin. He came from a normal family who treated him like any other kid. His parents eventually began constant fights between each other. Being a young child and watching this, Jeffrey took each of these fights to heart. Neither parent realizing that this fighting would be one of the reasons to Jeffrey's downfall in later years. His parents finally divorced and Dahmer continued to live with his father who eventually got remarried. After Dahmer had a hernia operation, the 6 year old's behavior changed profoundly. He became remote, fearful, and distant, he would sit for hours in front of the television without moving. Even his body language changed.

It all started at the age of 10 Dahmer began to "experiment" with dead animals by decapitating rodents, bleaching chicken bones with acid, nailing a dog's body to a tree and mounting its head on a stake. He had many problems his teenage years.

Just after Dahmer graduated high school and his parents had both fled from him. He was later attending college. In June 1978 his "experimentations" turned into murder. His first victim was a hitchhiker named Steven Hicks. He took him to his house where they drank beer, had some laughs, and had sex. When Hicks tried to leave, Dahmer crushed his skull with a barbell, strangled him, and then dismembered his corpse in plastic bags and buried them in the woods behind his house. There would be nine years before he took his second victim.

In January 1979 Dahmer flunked out of Ohio State University after only one semester, due to drunkenness. His father made him enlist in the Army. His drinking problem continued until 2 years when the Army discharged him for alcoholism. Dahmer returned home to Ohio where he crushed Hick's remains with a hammer to scatter the pieces even more widely in the woods.

In October 1981 he was arrested for disorderly conduct which drove his father to send him to live with his grandmother in Wisconsin. His alcoholism continued as lived with his grandmother during most of his adulthood. His next arrest was 5 years later for masturbating in front of two young boys.

In September 1987 he then sought after his second victim where he met a male at a gay bar, went to a hotel room, killed him, and the next morning placed the corpse in his grandmother's basement where he had sex with, and masturbated on it. He developed a pattern of murder that was continued for the remainder of his thirteen year killing spree: he sought after mostly African-American men at gay bars and did the same routine at his grandmother's house. His grandmother eventually kicked him out because of his late nights of drunkenness; keep in mind she was clueless of the activities that were going on below her house.

Below her house he would keep certain parts, such as heads and genitalia, they would be kept as trophies, while biceps and other muscles would be frozen to be eaten later. The rest would be boiled down using chemicals and acids and disposed of. Dahmer also conducted his own sick medical experiments, including lobotomy (perform a brain surgery) to some of his drugged victims. Most of his victims died instantly, but he claimed one functioned like a zombie for several days after he drilled a hole into his skull and poured acid into it.

In May 1991... Dahmer's African-American neighbor, Sandra Smith, called the police to report that a young Asian boy was running naked in the street. When the police arrived, the boy was couldn't speak English and was confused. The police believed Dahmer when he told them that the boy was his 19-year-old lover who had had too much to drink. The police then escorted Dahmer and the boy home and, clearly not wishing to become involved their homosexual relationship, the police had a brief look around and then left, soon after Dahmer strangled the boy and proceeded with his usual rituals. Encyclopedia Britannica 2004

Finally his luck ran out on July 22, 1991. Police found Tracy Edwards (young African-American), who was wandering the streets with a handcuff dangling from his wrist. He told
