My life has never been that great until now. I was originally from West Africa but now I live in the United States. In 1691 I was at my hut planting sweet potatoes in my family’s garden. My wife and little boy were in the hut cooking supper. It was about evening when I saw a group of white men in horses off in the distance. I ran into the hit to warn my family danger was coming but by the time we got back out the white men, which I learned were European slave traders, was already at our hut. We were then placed back into the carriage and after a long gruesome trip we stopped. The European slave traders came to the carriage and we were escorted to a large body of water. On the edge of the land but on the water there was several large items made of wood, which I later found out was called boats. The European slave traders took us all to the boats and we were forced onto the boats and taken to the bottom of the boats. All of us was cramped together so close I could hear the breathing of everyone around me. The trip we was going on is not known as the transatlantic slave trade which I figured
