In my life I find that what people value most is what makes them happy in life. Whatever makes them happy should also be what people turn to during hard time and struggles. Something of value does not have to be tangible as long as the person knows that it is important to them. To me, what is of most value is my music. Without my music I would not be able to control my emotions and be who I am today. Whenever I have a bad day or feel really shitty. I either turn on my, iPod or laptop and listen to my music. I listen to mostly rock because a lot of the songs help me emotionally deal with my past, resent, and future. My music is my vent for my anger and without my music I would just bottle up my emotions and explode. When I explode I probably would do something harmful to me or others. It is better to have a means of letting go of my anger and emotional troubles. In terms of how this reflects back on me, my listening to music shows that I don't aim my anger and emotions towards others. I like to use healthy ways was dealing with my problems. I don't turn to drugs or alcohol to fix my problems. If I am having a bad day all anyone needs to do is hand me my iPod or computer and let me go. My iPod acts as my wingman in helping me with my problems. Through music I am a healthier more responsible person.
