"The Tragedy of Julius Caesar" raises many questions about fate vs. freewill. Julius Caesar was the main component of this theme. In the saying "in life there are no coincidences" it saying that there is no such thing as luck. In the play Julius Caesar said "Men at sometime were masters of their fates. The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, But in ourselves, that we are underlings" (I.ii.140-142). This shows that Julius Caesar thought about the fate and freewill of people. "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar" brings about the theme of everyone isn't what they seem. Many people aren't how they seem in many ways. Like the old quote" don't judge a book by its cover". You should never judge before knowing. Like how Caesar thought Brutus was the best ever. Then Brutus went and helped kill Caesar. In the play Cicero said "Men may construe things after their fashion, Clean from the purpose of the things themselves" (I.iii.34-35). In other word you could say "don't get to close to a person before getting to know them".
