My definition of Marketing would have to be describing as a way to sell products or business. Nowadays there are various ways that marketing is used in business. For instance, a lot of business owners who are either starting out or have been in business for quite some time, use the Internet, Television, Billboards, and even go to other countries to market their businesses.

The key to any successful marketing strategy understands your customer's needs. Being able to satisfy your customers needs better than the company that you're competing with will to build loyalty and increase sales. You must remember both the customer needs and environment of your business in which you operate are constantly changing. Your marketing strategy needs to include the changes of the business industry you are starting your business in and also those of your competitors. Having a marketing strategy will help you assess how successful you are at meeting your customer's needs, as well as how successful your competitors are. It can also help you to successfully target new marketing ideas.

There are many key elements involved in a successful marketing strategy. As I discussed earlier one of the main elements are satisfying the needs of your customers. In order to meet the needs of your customers and remain competitive, you must respond to any changes in customers needs, in the attitudes of your industry, and also in the economic climate. Therefore it is important that you assess the environment of your business when creating key elements for your marketing strategy.

You can then create a strategy that makes the most of business strengths and matches them to the needs of the customers you want to target. For instance, if a certain group of customers are seeking high quality, then its up too your business to produce the high quality of service/products that your business can provide. Another important thing to remember when using marketing strategies are its consequences of being realistic. For example there is no reason for high quality marketing, if there are no products to produce. This strategy will reflect your own strengths and weaknesses. One key element that is often overlooked is being able to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of your business and product.
