A fundamental aspect of intricate kinship, loyalty within a friendship is a driving force and foundation on which a relationship is constructed, developed, and corrupted. Compelling closeness and loyalty provide the soul with an unmatched unity and comfort in life, and serve as an integral component of one’s intensely intrinsic commitment to another. The deep attachment and relentless devotion associated with such an awareness of fealty can lead to both regrettable and rewarding circumstances.

Thesis:

In The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini, the especially profound connection between Amir and Hassan exemplifies the potent influences of a brotherly alliance, undying fidelity, and the consequential troubles that accompany such a deeply impacting bond.

Body 1:

Topic -

The extreme attachment depicted by Hassan and Amir as children is an illustration of the acute adherence and significantly emotional association prominent between the two brothers. For Amir, “Hassan’s face was [his] earliest memory and [he] knew all of its subtle nuances…each and every twitch and flicker that ever ripped across it”, this intense scrutiny the result of a firm and tenacious thread serving as a link between two inseparable comrades. When young, Hassan and Amir’s familiarity was the ideal representation of the innocent loyalty that accompanies that sort of fundamentally interwoven subsistence. On one of their many days of gamboling around the house, the boys carve into a pomegranate tree a permanent designation, “Amir and Hassan, the Sultans of Kabul. Those words made it formal: the tree was [theirs]”. The sign of a naÐ"Їve, then indomitable liaison, the mark left on the tree would forevermore embody the tremendous honesty and zeal once encompassing the lives of the two friends.

Regardless of the trials and tribulations of their powerful companionship, Hassan is unwavering and resolute as he remains ceaselessly allegiant to Amir.

Before kite running for Amir on the fateful day of the competition, Hassan staunchly interjects “ for you a thousand times over”, the prevailing force of a few words ringing in Amir’s ears for the rest of his life as the greatest sign of total faithfulness on Hassan’s part. A simple line uttered by Hassan leaves an everlasting impression within Amir’s heart, for it is the heavy reminder of his good friend’s inexorable constancy towards him. Despite every morally incorrect and malicious thing Amir ever executes, Hassan binds himself steadfastly to Amir with this epitome of undying allegiance.

Amir experiences a great nostalgia when he recalls that Hassan’s first word “was Amir, [his] name”, reflecting upon the signs of keen earnestness Hassan showed even within their first few tendrils of existence. Years after leaving his homeland, Amir receives a letter through Rahim Khan that causes him to succumb to a heart-wrenching emotional turbulence, in it Hassan stating, “I dream that someday you will return to Kabul… if you do, you will find an old faithful friend waiting for you”.
