CHAPTER THREE
RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODOLOGY
3.0. INTRODUCTION.
This chapter contains research design and methodology that will be used on the target population. It willdescribe the research design, target population, sample size determination and sampling procedure, data collection instruments and data analysis technique for data presentation.
3.1. RESEARCH DESIGN
The researcher will use a comparative study. It will be justifiable because the sectors are homogenous in certain critical variables. Data on the relevant variables will be collected from both the experimental and control groups. It will provide means of measuring, observing and describing major variables identified at the beginning of the study relation to the communication as a management tool in organization.
3.2. TARGET POPULATION.
The target population will be drawn from 25 employees, from each organization main departments in kericho municipal council and kipsigis teachers Sacco.
3.3 SAPLE SIZE DETERMINATION.
The number of employees in each organization from each department will be listed and then randomly selected in each department to form representative sample in each stratum. There will be 50 employees in the selected departments of kericho municipal council and 48 employees in the selected departments of kipsigis teachers sacco but due to limited time and resources only 25 respondents of employees will be chosen from each department in the two organization.
