Liberals Vs. Conservatives
Liberals and Conservatives continue to disagree on the possibility of Judge John Roberts
becoming the United States next Chief Justice. Judge Roberts was interviewed at a series of
hearings so that the Judiciary Committee would be able to vote on his nomination for Chief
Justice. Although, Roberts has expressed his reasons for his nomination to the Judiciary
Committee, there are still members on the Board who are skeptical about his suitability for the
position. In general, many people are still trying to form their opinions about Judge John as the
17th Chief Justice.
The Liberal advocates fear the nomination of Judge Roberts and stated to the committee
that they feel he wouldn't be for the interest of the people. Where as , conservatives will continue
to support Robert because they believe that he stands for the equality for everyone in the Judicial
system. John Roberts concluded at his last hearing by that the Law is number one on his list of
priorities. The Republican party have control over the committee with the majority vote in the
Senate. They believe strongly in Judge John Roberts becoming the next Chief Justice. The
question that is being examined by many people is how many democrats will vote for Roberts
when he is vague about his plans of action as the Chief Justice. The Judiciary Committee will
make their vote on the 22nd of September 2005.
Liberals believe that the government can reach many heights socially by promoting
