Roger Dale Barrett is currently serving a life sentence for capital murder for killing Eunice Bradley also know as "Yogi". Since prosecutors did not seek the death penalty in this case he was automatically sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Tom Keith (a lawyer) reviewed photographs of the people that he had sent to prison he did not feel too comfortable with this one he felt the prisoner did not get a fair trail. Bradley died from a gunshot wound to the chest form a 22 caliber gun Barrett did not testify during the trail he claims that he shot him on accident and if that was the case I feel that he should have gotten second degree murder instead of being sentenced to life in prison. I also feel that it makes him look guilty since he disposed of the weapon and burned the body I just doesn't make any since why would he go though all of that. If that was the only reason they found him guilty once again they should have charged him with manslaughter and being negligent for not reporting it to the authorities or something like that. I also fell that the case was not fair because there is the issue if Gross communicated a plea offer to Barrett. The layer that represented Barrett (John Gross) assistant had a personal relationship with Barrett stepson and took advantage of that situation the judge in this case believes that Gross demeaned the work Chief Public defender at the time Charles Duell who use to be Barrettes attorney Keith clams the only reason that Gross wanted the case is to be involved in a high profile murder case to promote his practice.
