Life as A Gas

Gas: Nitrogen

I’m the gas called Nitrogen. I started my life off as a gas stuck in some plants in the woods. I was pretty happy because I wasn’t really disturbed but sometimes the squirrels would come and jump on me and my friends but that wasn’t a big deal. The day I will never forget is when this big male deer came up and to our bush and started eating the plants we were in. Then he came to my leaf and chewed me all up and then swallowed me. Then I was stuck in his nasty looking and smelly stomach. It turned out some of my other friends had also been eating so I wasn’t all alone. It was about the 3rd day in his stomach when something weird started happening. I can’t tell you anymore because it’s too painful to bring back up but next thing I knew I was on the ground stuck in this really sticky brown stuff. I rose up all the way into the thermosphere. Then one day it rained and I got stuck in one of the droplets and fell back down to earth but what do you know when I landed I got sucked up by one of the plant roots. Then I started the long cycle all over again.
