Literary Elements

There are many literary elements found throughout Romeo and Juliet. Ð'¬ Foreshadowing is very prominent in the play, especially in the prologue in act one 5 and 6. A pun is used in many places throughout the story; one is in act 1 scene 4 lines 39-41. An oxymoron can be found in act 3 scene 2 lines 75-77; “Beautiful tyrant! Fiend angelical! Dove-feather’d raven! Wolvish ravening lamb! Despised substance of divinest show!”.
