Little Rock high school was a very significant school back in the time of the interrogations. The reason why is because this was the first school to be interrogated in the south after the Brown vs. Board of Education case in 1954 stated that having separate to equal schools and unequal. The school is interrogated by the little Rock nine. The members are as follows Thelma Mothershed, Minnijean Brown, Elizabeth Eckford, Gloria Ray, Jefferson Thomas, Melba Pattillo, Terrence Roberts, Carlotta Walls, Daisy Bates and Ernest Green. Upon entering the school they faced many issues from students and adults. The got rocks trown at them they were chased and were threten to be kiled. The national gard had to be called inorder to get the students in school safely.During the school year they went throght many obsticles also, from being called names to getiing spit on. One of the girls got acid thrown on her, another one threw her lunch at a group a boys after they caleed her names she got suspened and later transferred to another school. Now at Little Rock High School the school is still not as segrated as it was intended to be it has a population of mostly minorities and even still they have a segrated group of them. You have a had full of the students in AP class while the other settle for the average or bellow. But as far as the black and white go mostly all the white moved out leaving minorties.
