What is Corporate Social Responsibility?
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the responsibility of an organization to influence its decisions and social activities, the environment and the prosperity of its decisions and actions. Responsible, sustainable and transparent methods not only help build the brand and reputation, but also strengthen the community and the market. A solid business plan embedded in a corporate culture that reflects the values and objectives of the organization through corporate social responsibility applications will help strategically create a sustainable future and have Catholic.
Organize and manage the obligations of the welfare and the interests of the society in which they operate.
What is business ethics?
Business ethics examines the ethical principles and the ethical or ethical issues that arise in the business environment. It applies to all aspects of business behavior and involves the individual and the behavior of the entire organization.
One of its goals is to identify the company's underlying goals. If the purpose of the company is to maximize shareholder returns, sacrificing profitability for other issues is in violation of its mandate.
In general, business ethics involves understanding right and wrong in the workplace and doing the right thing - this relates to the effectiveness of the product/service and its relationship with the parties involved. Focusing on workplace ethics will allow leaders and employees to understand how they should act. Perhaps most importantly, attention to work ethic helps to ensure that leaders and managers remain, strong moral leaders when they struggle with crisis and confusion. Business ethics can become a powerful preventative medicine. Ethics also evaluate and nurture corporate culture. Culture includes the values, norms, customs, and behavior of the organization. Morality is about moral values or about right and wrong values. Therefore, cultural assessment can be very valuable when assessing the ethical values of the organization. The company recently realized the serious impact of employee unethical behavior. In response, many companies have begun to train employees to make ethical decisions and to develop a code of conduct for the company. Today's business information is clear - employees must be able to make ethical decisions to protect the company from liability and maximize long-term profitability.
Social responsibility as a part of business ethics?
Social responsibility and business ethics are often considered to be the same concept. However, the social responsibility movement is just one aspect of the overall norm of business ethics. In the 1960s, the Social Responsibility Movement in particular aroused public awareness of the role of companies in helping to nurture and maintain a high moral role in society, especially in a natural environment. Many companies believe that they are responsible for "raising" the society.
