Love Essay
Love is described in the dictionary to be an intense sexual desire for another. To me love is more than just sexual desire. It's about trust , honesty and loyalty in a relationship and a never ending happiness with a partner. Every February there is a time made especially for this .
Valentines Day is celebrated every year on February the 14th. This is a day devoted to loving and caring and expressing your love with your partner. Valentines day is one of the biggest love symbols out there. Love symbols are everywhere during this time. The two biggest love symbols that come to mind are hearts and cupid. Hearts are a worldwide symbol for love. Love , your feelings and your emotions supposedly come from your heart but that makes no sense because hearts aren't actually shaped like the symbol and all they do is circulate blood in your body and keep you alive. Cupid is the love distributer. He is a little baby with wings that flys around naked and shoots lovers with his love arrows that make them fall in love. Valentines day is one of the most popular ways of showing love.
Love can be expressed in many different ways. From buying stuff for your love to kisses and affectionate acts. Public displays of affection to me are the most popular way people use to display love. Constantly you see people on the streets, and in any public area kissing , hugging or holding hands and all the other lovey stuff. When people get into very deep relationships and really love each other and start getting serious they sometimes show love by having sexual intercourse. Intercourse will show the trust, love and passion for one another which may lead to marriage which is the ultimate display of affection.
Love can start at a very young age but this is usually just puppy love where someone has a crush on someone but nothing serious
