Lung Cancer

People who smoke get Lung cancer, but now we are finding out that people who don't smoke or who have never smoked are getting lung cancer and dying of lung cancer. This is very sad that people who did not take the risk of smoking are still getting this terrible disease and dying before their time.
If your mom smokes and you don't guess what? You can get lung cancer. I recently read that
Christopher Reeves wife (the man that played Superman in the movies) wife died of lung
cancer and she never ever smoked. By the time she found it is was too late and she died very
very quickly and could not stop the cancer from spreading to her body so quick.
More than 87% of lung cancers are smoking related. However, not everyone that smokes
get lung cancer. Quitting smoking can prevent it sometimes, but people who have smoked
remain at greater risk for lung cancer than people who never smoked. We know that now
exposure to other things such as asbestos and radon gas also increases an individual's
risk, especially when combined with cigarette or cigar smoking.
Cancer in your lungs I read comes from from an abnormality in the body's basic unit of life, the cell. Our bodies are full of cells. Most of them we hope all the time are normal . Cells divide when needed, and regularly our cells in our bodies divide.
The normal body has a system of checks and balances on cell growth so that cells
divide to produce new cells only when needed. Disruption of this system of checks and balances on cell growth results in an uncontrolled division and proliferation of cells that eventually forms a mass known as a tumor.
Tumors can be benign or malignant. When you get a test from the doctor when you have
Symptoms of cancer you want to hope that your tumor is benign not malignant.
.Cancer is when those tumors are malignant. Benign tumors can usually be
removed and do not spread to other parts of the body. But those malignant tumors can grow really fast then they invade other tissues and parts of the body then they can go into
