I'm sure that pretty much everyone has seen those commercials with the two guys where ones supposed to be a PC (IBM-based Personal Computer) and the others supposed to be a Mac (Macintosh). Well haven't you always wondered if there was any truth behind those ads or if they're just trying to get you to buy their product. Well there is truth behind the ads; PC's just don't measure up to Mac's. More people should be using Mac's instead of PC's.
Everyone has problems with their PC's. Everyone has said, at least once "Why won't this just work?" Well Mac's don't have that problem. Think about all the time you'll save if your computer would just work the way it's supposed to when you need it to. The reason Mac's don't crash and don't have nearly as many problems as PC's is their flawless hardware and software. Everything simply works the way it's supposed to. The people who build and design the computer also make the applications and the operating system (OS), so you don't get the little errors and bugs that you get with a PC.
A lot of people think that this isn't true, that the people of Mac just say this to get you to buy their products, but anyone that's ever used a PC knows how many problems they truly have. Just trying a Mac could change your whole view. You can see by just testing it out that there really is that big of a difference, and it's definitely a good one. In fact you usually end up spending more trying to fix them, or buying little things to add to them. So in the end the high price tag of a Mac really is worth it.
According to the people at www.apple.com there are 114,000 known viruses that infect PC's right now and there are more being created everyday. That doesn't include the new ones that are being made and put out there waiting to destroy your computer every single day. The number keeps going up. There are 0 known viruses for Mac's. The viruses that people create for PC's don't affect Mac's the same way; they don't even affect Mac's at all.
Some people say that PC's really don't have that many viruses and that the people of Mac just try to distort any little problem into something bigger. (Bob LeVitus, www.user-groups.com) Even these little problems are annoying and time consuming though. Plus, anyone that uses a PC on a regular basis knows that there really are a countless number of viruses and worms ruining their computers everyday, and most people just don't know how to fix them. It's so bad that it gets to the point where it's almost foolish to use your PC without some type of added virus or spy ware protection. Even with these programs that are supposed to be protecting your computer it's very likely that your computer will become infected. It usually takes a lot of money and time to fix these viruses and the thousands of other problems that they cause, so you'll just end up buying a whole new computer instead. This is
