1,1 Battlefield, thunder and lightning Three witches The three witches arrange to meet with Macbeth when the battle is oover

1,2 King’s headquarters King Duncan, Malcolm, Donaldbain, Lennox, Ross, Angus King Duncan hears good news of the battle; Banquo and Macbeth have fught valiantly against his enemies and the king rewards Macbeth with the title Thane of Cawdor

1,3 The heath, thunder three witches, Macbeth, Banquo, Ross, Angus The witches meet Banquo and Macbeth: Macbeth shall become thane of cawdor and king. Banquo’s sonns shall become kings.

The first prophecy becomes true.

2,4 Somewhere in Scotland Ross, Old man, Macduff Ross and old man discuss the unnatural events that occured on the night of Duncan’s murder. They learn from Macduff that the king’s two sons have fled and that Macbeth has been chosen to be the next king.

3,1 Macbeth’s castle Banquo, Macbeth Banquo is suspicious., Amcbeth plans to have Banquo and his son killed, so that his kids cannot become king.

3,2 Macbeth’s castle Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, two murderers Macbeth is afraid that his throne is endangered by Banquo and Fleance пÑ" must be killed. Macbeth does not tell his wife abozt all his plans.

3,3 Some distance from Macbeth’s castle Three murderers, Banquo, Fleance Banquo is murdered, but Fleance is able to escape

3,4 In the banqueting hall Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, Ross, Lennox Macebth ands his wife receive the guests for their state banquet. The first murderer enters and tells Macbeth what has happened. Macbeth can see Banquos ghost and starts acting in a very strange way. Macbeth talks about it with his wife.

3,5 A deserted place Threee witches, Hecate The threw itches meet Hecate (queen of witches), She tells them to meet with macbeth the text day and do put on a more dramatic ahow fo him.

3,6 Somewhere in Scotland Lennox, another Lord Lennox and an unamed Lord discuss the state of affairs; Malcolm is in England, Amcduff ahs gone to join him; and the English king is raising an army
