The Tragedy of Hate"
William Shakespeare's Macbeth is a story about a man making his way to the throne. While he was trying to make the prophecy by three witches become true, Macbeth experiences a downfall. Macbeth becomes more hateful. This leads to his miserable life with a king, witches and his desire.
To begin with, Macbeth's hate occurs early in the play by murdering king Duncan, ignoring his own realization of right and wrong. "Is this a dagger I see before me, The handle towards my hand? Come, let me clutch Thee" (Macbeth ). Macbeth knew it is wrong to take someone life, especially a kings life away. Furthermore, Lady Macbeth has great control over her husband actions, when she stated, "Shall sun that morrow see!" (Macbeth 2.5.59).
In addition, witches told him that he is going to be king of Scotland. "All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee thane of Cawder!"(Macbeth 1.3.49). After meeting with the witches and killing the king, Macbeth pushed his hatefulness of guilt away. He felt no point stopping murdering and he found it easier to kill again. "Methought I herad a voice cry! Sleep no more!" (Macbeth 2.2. ).
At this point, Macbeth's desire is out of hand. "I have no spur to prick the sides of my intent, but only vaulting ambition, which o'erleaps itself, and falls on the other" ( Macbeth 1.7.25 ). Unfortunately, Macbeth's ambition forced him to change toward hateful evil. "I am afraid to think what I have done; look on't again I dare not" (Macbeth 2.2.51-52). His desire made him think that life is pointless. Some odd witches, might caused an increase in Macbeth's fall.
In brief, Macbeth simply allowed hate to destroy him. He felt necessary to kill the king, fulfilling flattering prophecy. Wicked witches sunk his mind to be next king. His desire didn't stop Macbeth
