I saw your notice for a pharmacy tech posted on job.com on January 31, 2008. This is a job I am interested in pursuing at your hospital. I believe that my education, experience, and skills make me a strong candidate for the position. As shown on my resume, I am a biological science major at Rutgers University.

Currently, I am a pharmacy technician at Beth Israel Medical Hospital in Newark, NJ. I dispense numerous inpatient and outpatient prescriptions for the hospital, and am recognized for my ability to increase sales and customer satisfaction. This can be attributed to the importance i place on work ethic, and my extensive knowledge of several medications and prescriptions. Furthermore, I am able to produce accurate results under stressful and demanding conditions. As indicated in my resume, setting up patient profiles, bills and reports, and helping the pharmacist order and receive prescriptions from vendors, wholesalers and patients has increased my skills as a pharmacy technician. Moreover, following the techniques involved in making aseptic preparation of parenteral products, ensuring that all charts in the pharmacy are stocked with the proper medications and inventories, and checking expiration dates on all the stocks have tested my responsibilities as a pharmacy technician.

I also have a lot of experience with customer service because I am constantly interacting with patients at my current job. As an academic tutor, I learned how to patiently and politely work with others and helping those that needed my help at the same time. I have earned various awards at work and school, which I feel further demonstrate that I am hard working and committed
