Marijuana and the effects of the Drug

I chose the topic of the effects of Marijuana because being in college you deal with it so often and you know the effects of it, but do you really? I have never done a research paper on Marijuana and it is the most used drug in the United States. Americans consume over 5 million pounds of marijuana per year. 1.Earleywine, Mitch. Understanding Marijuana. New York: Oxford University Press, 2002.

The book Understanding Marijuana by Mitch Earleywine goes into scientific detail about all aspects of Marijuana. The book addresses the history of marijuana along with the effects it has on the body. The book also talks about marijuana's effect on health and its medical use. The book addresses the scientific issues and the social issues. The book also offers very powerful statistics. Now this book is probably more fun to read then the other book on Marijuana and this is because the book relates more to my demographic than the other one does. This book is a little more abstract while the other is a little more concrete. This book offers personal experiences with pot and why certain social phenomenon having to do with
