Martin Luther King Jr.
Throughout most of his life, Martin Luther King Jr. seemed to have something to say that was actually very important. This helped him to become an important leader of his time with a big dream, and big heart. Because of this, he helped make many changes, which only improved his country, in such ways as being happy with everyone. This belief and dream was for all people to be treated equally, no matter what you looked like, or how you acted.
This dream seemed to inspire himself and tons of other people, which caused them to want to change the discrimination within their country. To change this, they rallied peacefully, made speeches, and did other acts that were very out of the ordinary in that time. After much time of doing all these things, while getting mocked, arrested, or even killed, the people finally got what they wanted. An equal country.
To get any feat as large as this, it would take good qualities and standards to live up to. Martin Luther King had very good qualities. This would include qualities such as being very determined. If you want anything in a serious way, you have to be determined to get it. Also being aware of what is going on before during and after what your goal is, is important. If he went into this, and was not sure about, or ready for it, then he would have been, pretty much, doomed in his journey. Another important quality that he had was good leadership skills. With out this, obviously, there would have been no order, unless someone else took control. He also was not fearful. This was needed because his goal had many challenges that were physical and mental, along his way. If he did not have this trait, then he would have easily backed down. These are some qualities that helped Martin Luther King along his journey, which seemed to work very well for him.
Martin Luther King seemed to have very similar traits to Ralph, from Lord of the Flies.
